What do you need when you have to go to show, your works, in other country, other continent ?
To buy the cheapest plane, train or bus passage and to know the time schedule, to choose the best seat in the plane, to get informations about the airport of arrival. To look after a good hotel, and to get some advices from other travellers about it, to know the exchange rate of the money, the hour in this country if you have to call somebody there and the phone number of all those persons you will meet.
To know the electrical tension , the form or the model of the plugs.
To verify if your mobile phone is working on the local GSM frequencies.
To contact a freight transport company for the transportation of all your material.
And the vaccinations, and the Visa ?. Don't forget that each country has its own sanitary and administrative requirements. So, what is the address of the Embassy where to apply ?
Without portable computer, troubles with the plugs; where to find a Cybercafé with computers to stay connected with your family, your company. (Before, perhaps, you have to get a free Email, if you can't use your "official" address from other computers).
Of Course, you have a credit card to pay the main expenses, but if you need some banknotes, you will have to look after a cash dispenser (VISA, Mastercard) or a Western Union's Agent.
During all your journeys, you have been learning to speak many languages, but if you arrive in a more exotic country, how to say “Hello, how are you ?” or “Please, could tell me where is the station ?”.
Check if the weather will be nice in the place where you will be in some days.

Que te falta cuando, para presentar tu espectáculo, tienes que viajar a otro país o a otro continente ?
Comprar billete de avión, tren o autocar lo más barato y saber a que hora sale, elegir el mejor sillón en el avión, tener informaciones sobre el aeropuerto de llegada, buscar un buen hotel y conseguir algunos consejos de otros viajeros sobre el, saber cuánto vale la moneda, donde vas a quedar, que hora sera en aquel país cuando tengas que llamar a alguien y cual puede ser el número de teléfono de todas esas personas que vas a encontrar.
Conocer tensión eléctrica, saber de que forma o tipo son los enchufes.
Comprobar si su celular funciona sobre las frecuencias GSM locales.
Contactar una empresa de transporte para el material.
Y vacunaciones, y el Visa ?. No olvides que cada país tiene sus propios requisitos sanitarios y administrativos. Pues, cual es la dirección de la Embajada donde hacer la petición?
Sin ordenador portal por problema con los enchufes ｿdonde hallar un Cybercafé con computadoras para estar en contacto con tu familia, tu compañía ? (Antes, quizás tendrá que abrir un Email gratuito para el viaje, si no puedes conectarte a tu dirección "oficial" desde otras computadoras).
Claro, sales con una tarjeta de crédito para pagar muchas cosas, pero si te falta dinero en efectivo, tendrás que buscar un distribuidor de billetes (VISA, Mastercard) o un Agente de Western Union.
Hablando muchas lenguas, no tendrás dificultades para entenderte con todos, pero si llegas a un lugar un poco más exótico, tendrás que saber como decir "Hola, que tal ?" y "Por favor, donde está la estación".
Comprobar si el tiempo quedara lindo en el lugar donde estarás dentro de poco días.
En definitivo, cuantos milas, kilómetros hay entre estas dos ciudades ?, como es el aeropuerto donde tengo una parada, los terminales están cercas o lejos ?
